October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) 2022
Every year since 2003 October has been recognized as Cyber Security Awareness Month (CSAM). This effort was brought to life through a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance. CSAM was created to ensure that every individual stays safe and secure online. We lead internet-connected, digital lives. From our desks and homes to on the go, we work, learn and play online. Even when we are not directly connected to the internet, our critical infrastructure—the vast, worldwide connection of computers, data, and websites supporting our everyday lives impacts everyone.
We at DDS have dedicated this month for raising awareness for cybersecurity in our workplace and our social media. With so much going on in the cyber world, it is critical to keep the security of your data up to date. While no business is completely safe from a hack or data breach, any company may considerably minimize its susceptibility by securing important access points and safeguarding vital organizational assets.
Cybercrime is on the rise, and analysts predict that the expenditures linked with these activities will reach $6 trillion this year. Cybersecurity Awareness Month is an excellent opportunity for people and companies to update their knowledge on how to cope with the practically constant risks that connected devices encounter. Participants may increase their awareness and reaction to cyberattacks by participating in the learning courses.
