Calloway was trained at UCLA and holds a MFA in Film Production. His first job was as an Editor, progressing to Cinematographer, then Producer of features and television. He is a member of the Producer’s Guild, the Director’s Guild, and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Calloway’s feature credits include “Legendary”, “The Chaperone”, “Knucklehead”, and “The Reunion”, for the WWE; “Wild Thing” for Atlantic; and “Running Hot” for New Line. He has produced “The O.C.”, “Nash Bridges”, “The Big Easy”, “Jack & Jill”, “Any Day Now”, and other pilots and series. Beyond Los Angeles and San Francisco, Calloway has produced in Hong Kong, Spain, Puerto Rico, Canada, and extensively on location in the United States.
Calloway is Staff Commodore of the Los Angeles Yacht Club (2009). He is a Director on the board of the Angel’s Gate Cultural Center, and the Los Angeles Sailing Foundation. Calloway manages the Cabrillo Dry Boat Storage in the Cabrillo Way Marina.
Calloway is currently writing “Someday Comes”, the story of his Great- Grandfather George and his path from slavery to freedom, prior to and through the Civil War.
Calloway lives and works in San Pedro, California.
